Ezra 1

It was tough to concentrate today. The first thing which arose my curiosity was this: "the LORD made what he had said through the prophet Jeremiah come true".(1,1a). I thought on how many time have I forgotten what God says always comes true which lead me to ask for forgiveness.
What's more, the passage in Jeremiah made me see God's porpouse in his epople returning was not other that having a relationsship with his people. The passage reads:
"When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." GOD's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. I'll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you"--GOD's Decree--"bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.

It also callef my attention the fact that God "moved o placed the dessire in the hearts" of those who had to return anf the need I have of God waking my spirit to see things clearer, to unserstand what he demands me so many times.
At last, I reflected on the part about how people not knowing God gave their offerings to those who knew him (1,6), that is, God moving non believers to invest on something "Christian". I thought about how we might be mistaking when non beleivers want to know nothing when it comes on investing on some churchly stuff or whether we might be so enclosed in ourselves we don't allow people seeing waht we are doing or whether we're afraid of people seeing it.
